1. Who we are #
[DRAFT — requires legal review]
Fudi Eats operates a marketplace app and this website that connect buyers with independent food sellers nearby. This policy explains what information we collect when you use Fudi Eats, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions go to [email protected].
2. What data we collect #
[DRAFT — requires legal review]
- Account information. Your name, email address and profile details. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the basic profile information that provider shares. Sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication.
- Location. With your permission, your device location, used to show listings near you. Sellers provide pickup locations for their listings.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe and are not stored by Fudi Eats. Sellers give Stripe the identity and bank details Stripe requires to pay them out. We receive payment status, amounts and limited account details from Stripe.
- Orders and listings. What you list, order, cancel or report, pickup times, and pickup confirmations.
- Device information and push tokens. Device type, app version and the push notification token your device issues, used to send order updates.
- Photos you upload, such as listing and profile photos.
- Messages to us, such as support emails.
This website uses cookieless analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) that count page views without identifying you.
3. How we use it #
[DRAFT — requires legal review]
- Running the marketplace: showing listings near you, processing orders and payments, paying sellers, and coordinating pickup.
- Push notifications: order updates such as "your order is ready". You can turn these off in your device settings.
- Fraud prevention and safety: detecting abuse, securing accounts, and handling disputes and issue reports.
- Support: answering your questions and resolving problems with orders.
- Legal obligations: including tax collection and record keeping.
4. What we share #
[DRAFT — requires legal review]
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run Fudi Eats:
- Stripe for payments, seller payouts and identity verification.
- Firebase (Google) for sign-in and push notifications.
- Cloudflare for image storage (R2) and website analytics.
- Between buyers and sellers: sellers see the name on an order. Before purchase, buyers see only a seller's general area. The exact pickup address is shown only to buyers with a paid order.
- When required by law, or to protect the safety of our users and the public.
5. Retention and deletion #
[DRAFT — requires legal review]
We keep your information while your account is open. You can delete your account in the app, or by emailing [email protected]. Once deletion is accepted, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 24 hours. Accounts with active orders can be deleted once those orders are complete.
We keep anonymized transaction and audit records as required for accounting, tax and dispute handling.
